Skittlez Painting by Enuwey Skittlez Painting by Enuwey
This is a painting of the lovely Skittlez from the fantastic webcomic Toilet Genie [link] by :iconblix-it:.

Its the finished version of [link]

...Well okay, its a terrible photo of a painting. (but that's only because it was too big to put on my tiny scanner -its nearly 18x24!)

;_; :iconblix-it: I am so sorry for the terrible photo and the painting that does not do the beautiful Skittlez justice. I did my best...and I might have to paint her again...if I didn't fail too badly at my fanart attempt. :'(

Painted on Arches 300lb paper with Windsor and Newton Watercolor Paints.

8D Did you end up painting this for that watercolor class you mentioned a while ago?

Yay! It did turn out nice! I think you did a very good job, and I'm really grateful for the fanart! <3 <3 <3 It makes me very happy. You got her hair very right.

I always have to scan my paintings in pieces. 8< I cut the sides of the painting until I've got the edges perfectly strait and the corners at perfect right angles (after the paper warps from being wet, the trimming is necessary) and then I line the edges up with the scanner bed edges and go from there. Assemble pieces in photoshop.

Yup, I painted it for the watercolor class I've been taking. (advanced class now! :D) I didn't have anything to paint, so I printed off a couple of toilet Genie pages and a pose and started to paint Skittlez.

;_; Thank you; I can not find words to express my sudden joy at your praise. I'm always happen to make fanart of Skittlez.

I may have to do that for quite a few of my drawings and stuff. :( The scanners I've had have always been really picky about their lids though so I haven't ever really tried. Thanks for the advice.
