Yay! It did turn out nice! I think you did a very good job, and I'm really grateful for the fanart! <3 <3 <3 It makes me very happy. You got her hair very right.
I always have to scan my paintings in pieces. 8< I cut the sides of the painting until I've got the edges perfectly strait and the corners at perfect right angles (after the paper warps from being wet, the trimming is necessary) and then I line the edges up with the scanner bed edges and go from there. Assemble pieces in photoshop.
