Description
While I painted this picture I began to think that Vinyl Scratch might actually really enjoy getting away from the clubs, get out of town, and just start wandering about the country side, all alone, enjoying a quiet you just can't find amidst a group of ponies.
So perhaps she found a little pond somewhere. And as she was walking along she discovered a music only Nature can create.
...or something like that.

Artistic Ramblings from this point on:
For 's mini contest.
For the contest we were supposed to create a picture of our favorite pony enjoying Nature with traditional mediums. So I decided to create a painting of Vinyl Scratch (my current fave) using my favorite traditional medium, Watercolors! (my other current fave)
Which was a bad idea. A very bad idea. @_@
Vinyl Scratch has this very funny colored mane; all light blue and dark blue streaks; which if you aren't careful can make your life miserable when trying to paint it. ...I wasn't that careful. >_>
But luckily I had a light blue colored pencil I had bought for an earlier project and was able to save her mane via experimentation! Yay!
Final Material List:
-Windsor and Newton Watercolors
-Prismacolor Colored Pencils
-Pencil
-Sakura Micron Pens
-Arches Hot Press Watercolor Paper
-and a little bit of Photoshop (to crop the image and fix the colors which, as always, got messed up in the scanning process...)

Ooh... I wonder what she's got going at the pond.
